Lee Pace, Matthew Foley's Next Step After Marriage: 'I'd Love To Have Kids'
#LoveWins as Lee Pace announces his marriage to long-time boyfriend Matthew Foley, with the couple sharing that they'd love to have kids.
In an interview with GQ Hype, the 43 year old actor talked about his acting career and personal life, where he confirmed that he had just tied the knot with fashion executive Matthew Foley.
"What I'll say about being married, it was once described to me as an endless sleepover with your weirdest friend. In our experience, that is absolutely true," Lee described. "If you've found one person you can be weird around, hold on tight."
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star also mentioned that he was open to taking the next step with his husband in their future. "I'd love to have kids. I think there's nothing better than little kids running around," he says.
It was not confirmed when exactly the pair tied the knot, but the actor's confirmation of his marriage to Foley comes a year after an interview with The Cut last November 2021, where he teased his marriage to then-boyfriend Matthew Foley.

It Started With a Match
What started as match-making by their mutual friend in 2017 has ultimately led to a match made in heaven.
"I said to my friend, Nick, 'You know a lot of people, who do you have for me?'" Pace detailed before he got introduced to his now-husband. "And it luckily has worked out".
The pair have been private with their relationship for years and live together in their 200-year-old farmhouse in upstate New York along with their dog, Gus.
Pace Was Forced Out of the Closet
During a controversial interview in 2011, Pace's co-star in "The Hobbit", Ian McKellen, had accidentally outed his sexuality when he listed fellow actors on set that he believed to be openly gay.
However, Pace did not address these rumors about his sexuality until March 2018. Apparently, he was forced out of the closet by a journalist during a phone interview.
EmbedIn a recent phone interview, I was asked questions that I wasn't expecting and found myself momentarily at a loss for the right words. My privacy is important to me, so I protect it. When interviewed by the media, I keep the focus on my work.
The aforementioned journalist was revealed to be Brian Moylan-the same journalist who forcibly outed Anderson Cooper in 2012.
