Will Smith Social Media Comeback; Here’s the First Thing He Did With Son Trey
It appears that Will Smith's life is slowly getting back to normal after he infamously slapped Chris Rock at this year's Academy Awards which caused a massive uproar from fans and other celebrities.
According to Fox News, the "King Richard" actor made his social media return with his eldest son Trey months after the Oscars incident with the comedian.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the 53-year-old star shared a video of himself with his son capturing a massive tarantula.
The two caught a giant spider and placed it underneath a glass bowl.
"What the whole h***. That is a big a** spider," he said in the short clip. His son later reassured him, saying what they caught was a tarantula.
He captioned the post with, "Posting this from a Holiday Inn."
At first, the two are battling over who would catch the spider. The actor said he was on a chair and his son should be the one getting the critter as he's "young and strong," meaning he could handle if ever it bits him.
The two made a big effort as both took turns to catch the eight-legged creature.

Will Smith's Last Instagram Post Before Returning to Social Media
The latest news comes almost half a year after Will Smith issued an apology for Chris Rock after slapping him in front of a live audience and millions of viewers at home.
In a lengthy statement, the actor said violence in all forms is "poisonous and destructive" and the way he acted on the night of the famed event was unacceptable and inexcusable.
Although jokes are a big part of his job, he noted that making fun of his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's medical condition was "too much" for him to bear and his actions stemmed from his emotions.
"I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be," he continued.
He also apologized to all producers and members of the Academy as well as the attendees and people who attended the event.
He concluded the post by saying he's still a "work in progress."
After sharing his apology, the Academy has announced that Smith is banned from attending the show for the next ten years starting April 8, 2022.
He's not allowed to attend any events or programs, whether it be in person or virtually, that is related to the Academy Awards.
