Florence Pugh has not been spotted performing promotional tours or interviews for her new film, "Don't Worry Darling" and there's a perfectly acceptable explanation for that.

But, according to a source who talked to The Sun, she was due to conduct several interviews for the film but rejected.

It's not only because Pugh is in Budapest filming her forthcoming picture "Dune: Part Two."

She also intends to forego the red carpet during the screening of "Don't Worry, Darling" at the Venice Film Festival in September.

According to the source, the British actress is dissatisfied with the story and does not want to get drawn into celebrity feuds.

"The movie is making everyone speak for all the wrong reasons, and she doesn't want to add to that by answering unpleasant questions."

This follows director and actress Olivia Wilde's public feud with the film's initial protagonist, Shia LaBeouf, in which Pugh has been dragged as "collateral damage."

Page Six also reported last month that Wilde and Pugh are battling over the director's affair with Harry Styles, who replaced LaBeouf in the film, which was regarded "unprofessional" by some on the set.

Shia LaBeouf's Reaction to Olivia Wilde Saying She Fired Him

It was widely reported that Olivia Wilde dismissed Shia LaBeouf because of his "combative behavior."

However, with his version of events and documentation to back it up, the former Nickelodeon star disproved Wilde's accusations.

LaBeouf explained his decision to depart "Don't Worry Darling" in emails to Variety, stating he didn't have time to rehearse with the ensemble.

A video Wilde gave him pleading with him to rethink is also being circulated on other social media channels. "I want to work this out," she says, referring to a quarrel between him and Pugh. I think this should serve as a wake-up call for Miss Flo."

She finished by continuously asking LaBeouf if there was "hope," begging that he simply inform her of his choice.

According to LaBeouf's statement, he was never fired, and he recognizes the "attractiveness of promoting that tale due of the present social situation."

"So I sincerely request that you fix the story as best you can," he continued.

At this rate, the drama surrounding the film appears to be better than the real "Don't Worry Darling."
