The feud between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh appears to have started even before the filming of "Don't Worry Darling."

Pugh was reportedly enraged and furious at the filmmaker for her frequent disappearances with the film's leading male and her real-life lover, Harry Styles.

The 38-year-old and her 28-year-old partner were unable to conceal their connection on set, which apparently irritated many key characters, including the British "Midsommar" actress.

Wilde and Styles' romance was "very evident" from the start, according to Puck News, since they have been difficult to find in between shoots. But, in the end, Pugh and Wilde clashed.

"Pugh, in particular, was angry by the absences, according to these individuals, and one source directly observed a furious debate about this subject between the two," the outlet's correspondent Matthew Belloni writes. Radar Online also covered the story.

Pugh expressed her anger when the first trailer for "Don't Worry, Darling" was released earlier this month.

"When it's down to your sex scenes, or seeing the most famous man in the world go down on someone, that's not why we do it," the blonde bombshell told Harper's Bazaar in an interview. "It's not why I'm in this business."

Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh's nasty feud is the latest chapter in the story surrounding their highly anticipated film.

The actress-turned-director sparked outrage when she said she replaced Shia LaBeouf on set with Harry Styles due to his "combative energy."

However, the former Nickelodeon star disputed Wilde's assertions, alleging that he resigned rather than being fired.

LaBeouf even provided receipts, including a video of "Book Smart" director pleading with him to return to the film.

Wilde implied in the video that if Pugh could only "commit" and have a "wake-up call," they could make the idea work. The sole reason the "Dune" star didn't want to work on the film was because she didn't want to work with an accused abuser.

Meanwhile, it appears that the film is being hijacked by more than Shia LaBeouf's accusations and Olivia Wilde's on-set rivalry with Florence Pugh.

Wilde's personal life has been at the heart of it all, with her custody fight with ex-partner Jason Sudeikis also dominating the news.

The film "Don't Worry, Darling" will be released on September 23, but it will have its global debut at the Venice Film Festival, which runs from August 31 to September 10.

Despite the fact that Pugh did not participate in the film's promotional tour, she is anticipated to attend the festival with Wilde, Styles, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine.
