‘The View’: Ana Navarro Worries Fans After Being Absent Despite Permanent Position
Fans are excited as a new season of "The View" just aired recently, but many viewers noticed a big change within the hosts' table; where is Ana Navarro?
According to Good Housekeeping, as reported by Outsider, the 26th season aired earlier this week and Navarro was significantly absent from the rest of the hosts: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin.
After ABC aired the first episode, many fans expressed their worriedness on social media, asking the republican host about what happened because she missed her first day at work.
"I was waiting to see you in the view today? You weren't there, [what happened]? one wrote.
"MISS YOU SO MUCH. Hurry home, we need to see your face, & hear your outspoken, spot on words," another wrote.
Even the following day (September 7), Navarro missed the show; what could be the reason behind her absence?

Why Was Ana Navarro Absent From 'The View'?
According to the outlet, the republican commentator is considered a "permanent co-host" on the famed ABC talk show, but they clarified that she won't be on the series full-time.
As quoted from a previous interview, Navarro noted that she couldn't commit full-time on "The View" because of her other commitments in Florida.
Another reason is she needs to spend time with her husband and dog.
In addition to being a permanent co-host, she will also be retained as a political commentator for CNN.
Speaking about Navarro's induction to the list of co-hosts for this season, executive Brian Teta noted that the commentator has "made an indelible impact" on the show since she became a host.
"She is a strong independent thinker with savvy insight, not to mention that she is whip-smart and fiercely funny. We are very happy to officially welcome her as a co-host," he added.
In a previous statement reported by Deadline, Navarro opened up about "The View" helped her to explore more things outside her comfort zone as a guest host for many episodes.
The TV personality said she would only talk about politics in the past, but because of the show, she would also speak about pop culture and "things that are relatable."
"The View" airs every Monday to Friday at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
