Following Queen Elizabeth II's death on September 8, her eldest son Prince Charles immediately became king, and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles became Queen Consort.

Prince William and Kate Middleton become the Prince and Princess of Wales.

However, her disgraced son Prince Andrew also got something despite being stripped of military positions and royal patronages after sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre.

The Duke of York, according to The Sun, will look after the Queen's three corgis.

The 96-year-old monarch was famed for her love of dogs, and by the time of her death, she still kept four corgis.

Two Pembroke Welsh Corgis known as Sandy and Muick, a Dachshund and Corgi mix Cindy, and a Cocker Spaniel named Lissy.

It hasn't been established whether Prince Andrew will look for Candy and Lissy or whether it will only be Muick and Sandy.

Prince Andrew has been attempting to re-enter the royal family's good graces by using his strong friendship with Queen Elizabeth II. However, nothing appears to have changed for him.

According to the source, "There is no new title and apparently no way back into the fold. Instead, he just gets the dogs."

They went on to remark that it's still a victory for Prince Andrew since he has much time on his handssince he is not working in the front line of the royal family anymore.

"He's been spending most of it horse riding but will now be able to get out for walks with the dogs too."

Though he is not technically a senior member of the royal family, Prince Andrew talked to well-wishers as he strolled through throngs outside Balmoral Castle over the weekend, returning from a short prayer session organized in the Queen's honor.

He was also known to have been among those who raced to Scotland to be by Queen Elizabeth II's side in her last hours.

The Associated Press (via Hello Mag) reported that the Duke of York was asked how things were, and he reportedly responded, "We've been allowed one day. Now we start the process of handing her on."

He also praised the mourner for attending.

Prince Andrew was accompanied by his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as Princess Anne and Prince Edward, who were moved by the floral tributes laid in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II beside the River Dee bridge.

They all spend a few minutes reading the memorials and appreciating the flowers before walking back to Balmoral Castle.
