Megxit Over?! Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Could Return To Royal Duties Part-Time [DETAILS]
Royal fans may see more of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the future.
According to OK magazine, now that King Charles III has ascended to the throne following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, he may seek to reintroduce the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the royal fold - although on a part-time basis.
According to an insider, he wants to solve the situation with the royal renegades, "The only way he's going to stop them being a problem is to give into them, which it looks like he is going to do."
They said, "Charles's opinion is it's better to have them inside the royal tent rather than outside the tent."
According to the insider, the new monarch wants to demonstrate to his people that he can deliver results, and bringing back the former "Suits" actor and his youngest son may achieve exactly that.
In fact, he is fine with bringing them back, a decision he made without consulting Prince William or Kate Middleton.
Their other royal family members, including palace officials and staffers, are said to be against it, but the former Prince of Wales just wants to show the world that he is his own man.
The next king does not want this to be interpreted as caving in to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but rather as giving his own reign a chance.
He also feels that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are valuable assets for him both in the UK and abroad.
"He has to stop them from overthrowing the monarchy, and part of the arrangement would be for Harry's book to vanish in order for this to succeed."
This may contradict prior reports that, if Prince Charles becomes king, he will reduce the number of senior working royals.
Several media sites have suggested in recent years that King Charles III is considering reducing the monarchy after Queen Elizabeth II's death.
Before Her Majesty's death, the line of succession included 22 slots, with Prince Charles at the top and Master Lucas Tindall, Princess Anne's grandson, at the bottom.
According to the Express' Royal Round-Up royal journalist Richard Palmer, the reshuffle might result in increasingly major duties for Prince George, particularly as he approaches his adolescence. Princess Anne, on the other hand, may still have a purpose because King Charles apparently values his sister. After all, she was the most hardworking royal in 2021.
