Queen Elizabeth II's Last Photo Before Death: Camera Candidly Captured 'Happy' Monarch Amid Struggles
Queen Elizabeth II, amid her struggles and health issues, showed her positive side before her death.
The royal family and fans heard the phrase "London Bridge is down" on September 8, indicating the Queen's passing at the age of 96. The world will bid goodbye to her on Monday during her scheduled State Funeral.
Ahead of D-Day, a news outlet shared one of the monarch's last photos before her meeting with Prime Minister Liz Truss.
The photo in question was taken at Balmoral, showing the Queen as she watched something while sitting comfortably and looking happy with the crowd.
Two days after the photo was taken, she showed up looking healthy during her meeting with the Prime Minister at the Balmoral Castle. During the encounter, she asked the leader to form a new government following Boris Johnson's resignation.
Although she looked happy and fine, she already sparked worries because of her blue hand.
New York Post and other news outlets uploaded the photos of the 96-year-old's hand while trying to shake hands with Truss. At that time, royal fans said that they saw a similar bruising to Prince Philip before his death.
According to Buoy Health, the six common causes of blue hands include pulmonary embolism, Raynaud's Phenomenon, pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, and peripheral artery disease.
However, her doctors revealed last week that she died peacefully hours after revealing her "unstable" condition.
Aside from the candid photo, the official Twitter account of The Royal Family also shared a photo of Her Majesty taken for her Platinum Jubilee celebration.
