Prince Harry Suggested THIS To King Charles III Which Made Queen Consort Camilla Spit Her Tea
In her latest book, "The New Royals," author and journalist Katie Nicholl tackled the growing rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as other members of the British royal family.
One of the assertions in the book is Camilla, now Queen Consort, tripping over her tea.
The book, per Vanity Fair, mentions an alleged royal family friend who told the author that Prince Harry met with his father, now King Charles III, in spring 2022 to "clear the air."
However, the uncomfortable meeting damaged relations further.
Katie wrote that there was a glimmer of hope on the horizon when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped in the UK before heading to The Hague for an Invictus Games event in the following weeks after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not attend Prince Philip's memorial service at Westminster Abbey last March amid reported disputes over their UK security arrangements.
An unidentified family member is reported in the book as claiming that the Duke of Sussex walked in with hugs and the finest intentions to finally talk to his father.
The source said that he also suggested they use a mediator to "try and sort things out," which had the now king "somewhat bemused," while "Camilla spluttering into her tea."
They added, "She told Harry it was ridiculous and that they were a family and would sort it out between themselves."
Prince William and Kate Middleton were on a skiing vacation with their children at the time and did not adjust their meeting arrangements.

Meanwhile, Katie stated that when Prince William and Kate Middleton's Sussex in-laws declared their intention to return to the United States in March 2020, they were glad since the "drama" would be "gone."
The new Prince of Wales is reportedly said to have conducted a conference with advisors, dubbed the "Anmer Summit" after the couple's Norfolk residence, to discuss the monarchy's future once Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocate to the United States.
It comes as Buckingham Palace continues to be concerned about Prince Harry's planned blockbuster memoir.
Prince William's younger brother secured a four-book contract for millions with Penguin Random House, with the first book slated to go to press later this year.
It is yet uncertain what the book's contents will be. Nonetheless, it is expected that Charles would speak about his mother, Princess Diana, his marriage to Meghan Markle, and his decision to step down from his high royal role.
