Meghan Markle Snubbed Queen Consort Camilla's Advice Due to 'Ambitious Plans?'
Queen Consort Camilla made sure Meghan Markle would feel comfortable when she married Prince Harry and officially became a member of the royal family. However, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly shrugged her off and her advice.
The shocking rumors about Meghan and Camilla's relationship were revealed in the upcoming book by the royal author, Angela Levin.
In her "Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: A Royal Survivor" book, which is due to be released in October, Levin said the Duchess of Sussex did not accept the Queen Consort's advice when she tied the knot with Prince Harry and joined the royal family.
Camilla reportedly wanted to help her as she never wanted to see anyone suffering. She was also fond of her at that time.
Instead of embracing King Charles III's wife, Meghan reportedly made the supposed warm welcome "fall flat" when they met for the first time.
According to Levin, Meghan felt bored with Camilla and the royal family that she opted to "go on her own way" as she pursued her ambitious move to have the best possible role in the monarchy. In fact, she successfully left an impression that she is a hard-working individual due to her contribution to a cookbook made in 2017.
Once again, Camilla tried making her feel welcome by having lunch based on the recipes from the aforesaid cookbook.
"Lucia recalls: 'As a surprise, Camilla went out of her way to make sure the lunch consisted only of recipes from Meghan's cookbook, and that included a very hot salsa. It was a really nice gesture.' One that made no impact," the book revealed, as quoted by Fox News.
Prince Harry Sees Camilla Negatively
While Meghan reportedly suffered a major snub during Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, Levin noted that Prince Harry's relationship with Camilla also became strained.
In the same book, the royal author revealed that a source told her about Prince Harry's negative feelings toward Queen Consort Camilla, adding that he wants to blame others "for his own mistakes." Per Levin, King Charles III, and Camilla became hateful in his mind, with Meghan feeling horrible about her, as well.
"What has happened and how [Prince Harry] has behaved has been very upsetting for her. There have been a lot of hurt feelings all around, but like all families, you have to embrace it all and hope it will improve," she quoted another insider.
