Meghan Markle Wanted To Be Rejected By Royal Family and Fail Senior Roles, Author Claims
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were said to be assigned a staff to assist them with anything that would help them flourish in royal life.
However, a royal author claimed the Duchess of Sussex did not want it.
In reality, according to excerpts from Valentine Low's "Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown" published in The Times, Meghan intended to be "rejected" by the British royal family from the start.
By the time she and Prince Harry appeared on Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, the author said that the Palace's assistance had been forgotten.
Low stated in the interview that the Duchess of Sussex's statements about Queen Elizabeth II declining to assist her in her "hour of greatest need" were false, but the author wrote in his book that the royal family employees did not recall it that way.
This is because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were assigned a staff to assist them in resolving issues.
Some staff members interpreted the former "Suits" star's refusal of the provided assistance as a "deliberate ploy" to expedite her exit from the monarchy.
Another adviser said Meghan didn't want to be happy, but rather "rejected" by The Firm.
The author wrote in his book how people knew that her happiness would judge the monarchy.
"The mistake they made was thinking that she wanted to be happy. She wanted to be rejected, because she was obsessed with that narrative from day one."

Instead of embracing the assistance given, Meghan Markle allegedly listed all of the times The Firm let her down, including a time when she went to the head of Human Resources at Buckingham Palace but was turned away since the department only works with Palace personnel, not true royals.
Low says that the California native would have known and that she might have been building a trail of evidence after abandoning her senior royal duties.
Members of the palace staff are also believed to be aware of the requirement for their own "proof" demonstrating a "duty of care" to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the event that they leave their roles.
This meant that if things didn't work out, employees could show that they attempted to accommodate Meghan.
"Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown" will be released on Oct. 6.
