A Virginia jury determined that Johnny Depp was entitled to $15 million in damages because Amber Heard had allegedly slandered him.

Due to the state's cap on punitive damages, it was lowered to $10.35 million.

In June, the actress's attorney admitted that she was unable to make the payment that she owed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.

In contrast to Johnny's 2020 defamation case against The Sun after the British tabloid labeled him a wife-beater, which he ultimately lost, Elaine Bredehoft, her attorney at the time, stated on the "Today" show that Amber planned to appeal the decision.

However, it appears that the "Aquaman" star is heavily in debt and has a lot of financial commitments.

She is not only bankrupt, but she also needs to pay $25 million to settle her obligations.

She allegedly considered selling some of her holdings in order to pay for them.

Amber Heard Debt: Who Does She Owe Money Most?

Johnny Depp is owed $10.35 million by Amber Heard. She owes money to the attorneys who are defending her in court as well, though.

According to Marca, the blonde bombshell owes her legal team, which includes lead attorneys David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown, $15 million.

Amber owes money to her insurance providers in addition to her legal counsel.

Due of the enormous debt on her account, some of the companies that supported her during the trial have now withdrew their support.

Only $500,000 and $1 million can each be covered by Amber's two insurance companies, which will only cover a tiny portion of the sum she owes to her attorneys.

What Is Amber Heard Up to These Days?

A few days ago, Amber Heard was seen in Spain enjoying time with her daughter Oonagh Paige.

In addition, she didn't appear to be concerned as she played with her kid, despite her ongoing battle to secure insurance to pay the $8 million in legal expenses she owes Johnny Depp.

On her most recent trip in Palma de Mallorca, the 36-year-old was spotted without makeup and looking effortlessly cool in a black tank top, white ankle-length slacks, and flip-flops.

She was touring the Spanish city with a small group of people.

Amber recently switched attorneys in an effort to get two insurance companies to pay the remaining millions of dollars for her libel settlement. In her appeal of the verdict, Amber is represented by the two attorneys listed.
