A casting agent has made a last-ditch effort to find an actor to portray Prince Harry in the forthcoming season of "The Crown" on Netflix. It's unclear why the sudden rush for someone to play the controversial royal.

The job advertisement seeks an individual with a striking physical resemblance to the Duke of Sussex; however, professional acting experience is not required.

As part of the application procedure, those between the ages of 16 and 20 who wish to be considered for the role are instructed to send an email with a short video of themselves speaking about something they enjoy.

The filming of the sixth season of the popular drama will commence next month already.

Robert Sterne, Casting Director of "The Crown," is seeking an excellent young actor to portray Prince Harry in the next season.

The casting request for William and Harry stated that their parts in the drama are "important," hinting that there may be plotlines affecting their life in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

It predicts the series show the events up until at least 2005, and starting with 1998 - just one year after Princess Diana's passing.

Prince Harry attended the elite Eton College, Berkshire, from 1998 to June 2003, when he graduated with two A-levels in Art and Geography at the age of 18.

He took a gap year after graduating from high school and spent three months working on a cattle ranch in southern Queensland, Australia.

The 19-year-old prince also spent two months in Lesotho, where he worked with organizations to raise HIV/Aids awareness and created the documentary "The Forgotten Kingdom."

In May 2005, at age 20, Prince Harry began his 44-week Officer Cadet training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

In April 2006, at the age of 21, he joined the Blues and Royals and was commissioned as an Army officer.

This month, it was reported that Meg Bellamy will portray Kate Middleton in the upcoming "The Crown" television series. The Netflix series issued a casting call in April for a "beautiful actress" to play the role of a young Kate, and after a five-month wait, they found their Duchess.

Ed McVey has been recruited as Meg's on-screen husband, Prince William. Ed and Meg will portray the pair during the time that their relationship bloomed while they were attending St. Andrews University.
