Model Gigi Hadid comes to Gabriella Karefa-Johnson's defense after Kanye tries to humiliate the fashion editor.

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson is a renowned Vogue Fashion Editor and long-time friend of model Gigi Hadid. Following the controversial release of Kanye's Yeezy Season 9 collection in a surprise Paris Fashion Week show, which Gabriella had initially criticized. However, this does not sit well with the "Yeezy" founder and did what he does best: go on Instagram and start a feud.

In a series of Instagram photos, Kanye West posted a screenshot of a text messages from Mowalola, one of the fashion designers that Ye picked out to head "Yeezy Gap". Mowalola had cautioned the "Praise God" rapper from insulting Karefa-Johnson, as the latter could have provided helpful criticism to Kanye's fashion line.

However, Kanye posting about the Vogue fashion editor did not sit right with Gigi Hadid. The 27 year old model expressed her thoughts in a comment on West's Instagram post, calling the 45 year old rapper a "joke" and "bully".

"You wish u had a percentage of her intellect," Gigi commented on West's Instagram post. "You have no idea haha.... If there's actually a point to any of your s--t. She might be the only person that could save u. As if the 'honor' of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion? Lol. You're a bully and a joke."

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson on 'White Lives Matter' Shirt

Ye drew controversy on the statements made by his latest fashion line, which featured "White Lives Matter" in bold text on the back of a shirt. The rapper, alongside other models, went on to pose with conservative commentator Candace Owens in the matching controversial shirts. The racist phrase was widely adopted by white supremacist groups in contrast to the "Black Lives Matter" movement.

In a recent Instagram story, stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson shared her thoughts on Kanye's controversial fashion line.

"The t-shrits this man conceived, produced, and shared with the world are pure violence." Gabriella Karefa-Johnson wrote on her Instagram snap. "There is no excuse, there is no art here. I'm sorry I failed to make that clear - I thought I did. I do think if you asked Kanye, he'd say there was art, and revolution, and all of the things in that t-shirt."

During Kanye's latest fashion show, the rapper expressed that his new line was the beginning of a "new frontier". It is currently unknown what prompted West to do a "White Lives Matter" statement on his shirts.
