Wendy Williams' Current Health Status After Wellness Facility Admission Revealed
Wendy Williams' latest health update has been revealed months after admitting herself to a wellness facility.
Following countless reports claiming that Williams' health was deteriorating, her publicist shared an official statement to confirm that the talk show host's status improved after two months.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Williams' publicist Shawn Zanotti revealed that the 58-year-old is "healing" as she began her road to recovery.
"We are happy to report that Wendy Williams is home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August. Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects," she said.
Williams herself thanked her fans and supporters who prayed for her amid her health battle. She declared that she is officially back and feeling better than ever.
The positive news came months after she chose to focus on her health with the help of a wellness facility.
For what it's worth, Williams started her healing journey in pursuit of giving something better to her fans once she officially launched "The Wendy Experience Podcast." Her representatives assured her she was receiving the best care from the best doctors at that time.
Wendy Williams' Health Issues
Williams' highly anticipated return might finally give way for her to start her planned podcast after losing her beloved "The Wendy Williams Show."
She began experiencing health issues when she was diagnosed with Graves' disease in 2018. The condition is an autoimmune disorder that can lead to an overactive thyroid, also known as hyperthyroidism. It is also the cause of her now-noticeable bulging eyes.
According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, it can reportedly cause severe problems if left untreated.

The following year, she was diagnosed with lymphedema which has been causing a build-up of fluid in her body tissues. Fortunately, she found a doctor who could help her manage its symptoms.
Because of these issues, the public also assumed she had early-onset dementia after seeing "bizarre signs."
Unfortunately, these affected her appearance in "The Wendy Williams Show," which eventually let her go and gave way to Sherri Shepherd's "Sherri." Her absences led her to lose her long-running show.
Shepherd released the first episode of her show on September 12, and Williams declared she would not watch any of its episodes at all. In response to this, Shepherd responded through Instagram Live that she heard Williams' comments and asked everyone to pray for the embattled host instead.
