Tom Brady sets the record straight amidst retirement rumors after dealing with "personal issues" with Gisele Bundchen.
Brady is a renowned player in the National Football League as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has been married to model Gisele Bundchen since 2009, however, the two have been surrounded by divorce speculations after 13 years of marriage. The two share children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian.
According to sources, the alleged split was caused by Tom's decision to come out of retirement from the sport, despite promising his wife Gisele that he would give more time to their family.
Chris Simms Point to Tom Brady as Next To Retire
Following the split speculations, Tom Brady has also been the subject of controversial headlines as rumors of his retirement from football are being linked to a recent comment by former Buccaneers quarterback, Chris Simms.
The 42-year-old quarterback stated that Tom Brady is more likely to retire than Aaron Rodgers considering Brady is dealing with "personal issues", referencing his rumored split with Gisele Bundchen.
"Normally I'd feel like it's Rodgers that would be that guy. But because of this year and some of the off-the-field stuff that's hitting home and personal stuff with Brady, this is the one year I feel maybe it might be Brady," Simms said during the mid-week press conference.

However, in a recent post from the Bucaneer's official Instagram, Tom Brady debunked the retirement speculations by going on the record about his passion for his team and future plays.
"Well that's really why I'm here, I'm here to announce, finally, you guys have pushed me to the brink." Tom Brady joked, before confirming: "I love the sport, I love the teammates, and I want to go do a good job for this team like I always have. So, no retirement in my future."
Amidst the divorce speculations, no representatives from Tom Brady or Gisele Bundchen have confirmed or given any comment. However, the two reportedly hired divorce lawyers and have been spotted without their wedding rings. Sources also allege that Gisele has moved out of the family's Tampa house to go to Costa Rica after a fight.
