Khloe, Kim Kardashian Criticized After Condemning Kanye West's Anti-Semitic Remarks
Following Kanye West's anti-Semitic remarks, Khloe and Kim Kardashian have both broken their silence.
In light of the 45-year-old "Donda" rapper's statements, the Kar-Jenner family members expressed their support for the Jewish community on Monday.
The "Good American" founder shared a post to their her media that reads, "I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people."
However, the mom-of-two was chastised for her tone-deaf Instagram Story eight hours later.
Khloe posted a video of her $17 million mansion's gas fireplace.
Fans linked Khloe's fireplace picture to the Holocaust and chastised the timing of her Instagram post.
"The point is they're so ignorant and careless I bet they don't even realize the correlation," one user commented on the platform.
"I truly doubt they know anything about history, especially nothing about the Holocaust," another individual said.
A third individual disagreed, saying, "I don't think she meant any malice, but oh my gosh, optics."
But, as previously said, Khloe wasn't the only one getting a lot of flak.
Kim Kardashian, her older sister, replied to her ex-anti-Semitic husband's tirade on Twitter, writing, "Hate speech is never OK or excusable."
"I stand with the Jewish community in calling for a stop to the awful violence and cruel words directed at them."
Following the SKIMS mogul's remark, though, she was mocked on social media. This is due to the fact that she did not include Kanye's name in the tweet.
"Thank you, but state his name," one individual said to the billionaire. "Your children are watching."
"I don't blame her for not disclosing his name," a second individual said. "I do fault her for waiting so long to speak up."
"He made these statements days ago, and you are just now coming up," one enraged internet user wrote. "You should have done it right away."
"You don't need a public relations staff to respond to this. I've always assumed you were part of the problem with American society, and it turns out I was right."
Not only was Kim chastised for not naming Kanye in her post, but she was also seen with Ivanka Trump.
"You had a meeting with Ivanka Trump yesterday. The family behind a wave of anti-Semitism. So perhaps you should take a seat."
Aside from the reaction, followers are urging Kim Kardashian to attempt to stop Kanye West from "doing what he's doing."
