Under the Sea and In Theaters NOW: Live Action Adaptation of 'The Little Mermaid' starring Halle Bailey FIN-ally in Theaters!
The live action remake of classic Disney film The Little Mermaid, is out in theaters now.
The fastest way to go under the sea is officially by heading into the movie theater. The widely anticipated live action re-make of The Little Mermaid has finally made its way to the big screen. The film stars the sensationally talented Halle Bailey in the role of everyone's favorite mermaid Ariel. Other sea-stars stud the movie's illustrious cast including Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, and more.
Halle Bailey became widely known in the public eye for her work on the series Grown-ish where she and her sister Chloe Bailey played twins for four seasons. The two have grown together as artists, both as actors and sinters. Together they were two halves of the well loved music duo Chloe x Halle.
In an interview with Variety, Halle Bailey shared how much her close relationship with her sister has positively impacted her life and career. "My sister is my backbone. She's my best friend. She's my everything. When I write with her, it's different than when I'm just alone. When we sing together, I feel differently than if I'm just singing by myself." The love and support that they have found with each other has definitely propelled Halle Bailey to take on this new deep sea adventure by herself. She can be certain she has the support of her loving family behind her.
