Wenesday Star Emma Myers to Take on DEADLY New Role in the BBC Adaptation of 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder'
Emma Myers is set to star in the upcoming BBC adaptaiton of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
Emma Myers became a fan favorite of everyone's screens as she captured the hearts of the world in her starring role in the show Wednesday. On the 80s inspired show, she plays the werewolf roommate of Wendesday Adams, Enid Sinclair. Now, the star is getting ready to take on a new challenge. It has been announced that Myers will be taking on a leading role in the upcoming BCC adaptation of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. She will be taking the role of Pip Fitz-Amobi.
This exciting book-to-film adaptation is coming from the well-loved novel by the incredible Holly Jackson. Pip Fitz-Amobi finds herself at the center of the mysteriously driving action, stuck wondering whether or not her boyfriend, Sal Singh could be responsible for the murder of former classmate Andie Bell.
After Wednesday, we have confidence that Myers can bring a heart and passion to any character that she takes on. Audiences everywhere fell in love with the character and the dynamic between herself and Jenna Ortega's commanding performance. Myers says she was not even keeping up with the hype of the show. In an interview with Variety she was asked when she realized the show was a success. The star replied:
"What's funny is I wasn't keeping up with it. I knew it was doing well. But I didn't really realize how well it did until a while later, because not even a week after Wednesday released, I was on a plane coming out to L.A. to film this, and I was just swamped with stuff. So I wasn't really keeping up with how well it was doing. By Christmas break, when I got to go home and see my family and everything, it hit me that, 'Oh, wow. In only a month it's become top whatever on Netflix.' It was crazy."
Congratulations to Myers on this new challenge. We cannot wait to see what new life you bring to the role.
