Off to the Races! Joel McHale and SNL Alum Beck Bennett to Star in New Movie
Joel McHale and Beck Bennett are set to star in a new movie on Comedy Central, and we cannot wait.
With both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes (which we are in full support of here at Enstarz) in full swing, we did not anticipate many exciting new movie announcements for some time. However, with things as they are today, many projects that were filmed before the strike are going to be coming out in the near future. Such is the case with the new movie Office Race that is coming to Comedy Central. The film is set to star Community's incredible Joel McHale and Saturday Night Live alum Beck Bennett.
According to an article on Deadline, the story of Office Race follows:
"Pat [Bennett], a passionless pushover who coasts aimlessly through life until he's goaded into running a marathon and soon discovers his love for the sport. Animal Control star McHale will play Spencer, Pat's co-worker and rival, who's a brown-nosing fitness fanatic with zero self-awareness and a crippling addiction to a quasi-legal sports drink."
The rest of the cast also features a series of incredible stars. These stars include Kelsey Grammer, Alyson Hannigan, J.B. Smooth, Kylie Bunbury, Erinn Hayes, Geoffrey Arend, Karolena Theresa, Katlyn Carlson, and Matt Richards. The film was written by Jared Lapidus and James Kilmoon. We cannot wait to see this film premiere. It will air on September 4th at 8PM. You know we will be watching.
