Jungkook Shocks Fans By Answering Suggestive Question: 'Bottom or Top?'
Following the official release of his highly-anticipated solo debut album, "Golden," BTS' Jungkook spent time with ARMYs - BTS fans - during his Stationhead listening parties.
In one of the listening parties for "Golden," the 26-year-old South Korean singer was asked a suggestive question. A fan asked, "Bottom or top?" to which Jungkook simply answered, "Top." He let out a giggle and then proceeded to read other comments.
While the question "Bottom or top?" usually has a sexually suggestive meaning, other ARMYs claimed that Jungkook might not have understood its real context.
"Adding 'he's laughing' to make it seem like he understood the double meaning and answering a question about sex positions when the people who saw the comment said it was referring to clothing. You all are disgusting to use this language barrier to bring your fan fiction to life," tweeted one fan.
"He didn't even say 'I am a top,' and [you know] in many languages, top and bottom don't directly translate to bedroom dynamics. He probably thought of clothing or something. Stop projecting your weird fantasies on Jungkook and get help, everyone," opined another.
"Can't you all be normal and ask about the album [instead]?" wrote a third user. Another said, "Whoever asked this...why??"
However, a few claimed Jungkook might have known the sexually suggestive meaning behind the question, as he released songs "Seven" and "3D" with explicit lyrics.
"So this what you all have been gagging about? Girl, he is almost 30 years old, he knows what that means. You all have been throwing a FIT. If he knows about champagne confetti, he knows about tops and bottoms. Wrap it up," tweeted one user on X.
Jungkook continues to rise on top with his solo debut single, "Seven" feat. American rapper Latto.
On Monday, the Guinness World Records announced that "Seven" has become the fastest song to reach one billion plays on Spotify. The track achieved this feat in just 109 days.
"Seven" beat the 118-day record previously held by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" and Harry Styles' "As It Was."
Hybe Labels recently released the choreography version of "Standing Next to You" — the title track of Jungkook's solo debut album, "Golden."
As of press time, the video has over 2 million views on YouTube.
