Melania Trump Is The Only Person Donald Trump 'Kinds Of Bows Down To,' Former Staffer Says
Melania Trump is a strong and confident woman and is the only person her husband, former President Donald Trump, somewhat kind of bows down to, according to a former staffer.
Stephanie Grisham, Melania's former chief of staff, recently spoke with The Washington Post and discussed the former first lady. According to her, Melania is not afraid of her husband, and she has gotten mad at him, especially after Stormy Daniels came forward and publicly discussed her affair with Donald in a 2018 interview with CBS' "60 Minutes."
Melania was reportedly less angry about the hush money to keep Daniels silent during the 2016 campaign and was more furious about how the cheating allegations embarrassed her. Grisham said the ex-FLOTUS didn't want to be cast as a damsel in distress and was not afraid to speak her mind and make her demands to her powerful spouse.
"The attitude I admired about her the most is she did what she wanted when she wanted to," Grisham said of Melania. "She was pretty much the only person I've ever seen who he kind of bows down to."
Donald also openly praised Melania during her interview on the "Megyn Kelly Show" podcast in September when many asked him where Melania was as she had been largely out of the public eye.
"She's doing very well. She's very strong, very, very even-keeled. And she's a very good woman, as you know," the former POTUS said of his wife.
Additionally, he spoke of Melania's popularity, noting how his supporters love her despite her absence.
"She was a very popular first lady. I mean, I go out to rallies, and they have pictures of Melania [saying], 'We love our First Lady.' So many posters were there in the audience...We had the biggest rallies we've ever had," he continued.
Donald assured everyone that his marriage to Melania was fine. When host Megyn Kelly asked him what "people misunderstand about" Melania, who seemingly prefers to live a quiet life out of the spotlight, the businessman-turned-politician said his better half doesn't crave media attention before praising her confidence.
"She doesn't need to be interviewed by you to get ripped apart for no reason. She doesn't need to be out there. She's got confidence. She's got a lot of self-confidence," Donald said of Melania.
It's reportedly difficult to convince Melania to attend events or campaigns. However, while many cast doubt on her relationship with Donald, she has always been a present and good mom to their 17-year-old son, Barron. She spends most of her time at Mar-a-Lago because he is finishing up high school there.
"You can't say anything bad about a good mother," Melania's former BFF and staffer Stephanie Winston Wolkoff told The Washington Post.
