YG Entertainment commented on the circulating reports that all four members of BLACKPINK -- Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé -- agreed to continue group activities under the label.

On Monday, Munhwa Ilbo reported that the BLACKPINK members will continue to promote together as a group under their long-time label, but they will not renew their individual contracts with YG.

Two of the four members, who were not revealed, reportedly signed a contract with YG after agreeing to continue BLACKPINK's activities as a group.

YG will reportedly make the official announcement regarding the girl group's renewal after the contract signing with the two other remaining members.

However, per Soompi, YG reportedly clarified the reports, saying, "Nothing is confirmed, and we are still in discussion."

Previously, YG told various news outlets that the company was still negotiating with its artists regarding exclusive contracts.

It's almost the same update fans received from YG in the past months. However, BLINKS -- BLACKPINK's fans -- now have an outlet to watch out for until the final announcement regarding their favorite group's contract renewal with YG is revealed.

"The final outcome will be revealed through the document regarding major management issues related to investments," YG said in its previous statement.

Korea's Business Post also revealed in October that YG would most likely give an update regarding BLACKPINK's contract renewal in its third quarterly report, previously expected to be released in mid-November.

In YG's quarterly report issued last Nov. 14, the label stated, "As of the disclosure date, the exclusive contract with the artist is being negotiated for renewal."

"The final results will be announced later through the disclosure of 'major management matters related to investment judgments,'" YG said.

BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016 under YG Entertainment with its single album "Square One," which featured the group's first hit songs, "Whistle" and "Boombayah."

Before the group's reported contract expiration with its label, the quartet held its second world tour. "Born Pink" kicked off in Seoul in October 2022 and concluded in Seoul this September.

The quartet performed at sold-out concerts in Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania throughout the tour.
