Meghan Markle and Prince Harry showed off their dance moves on their recent date night.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had fun when they stepped out to watch the Vancouver Canucks vs. San Jose Sharks game in Vancouver, Canada, Monday night.

Markle has been a fan for years since she stayed in Toronto to film her hit TV show "Suits." When the Canucks scored a goal, Prince Harry stood up and danced, Just Jared reported. Markle followed suit and showed off her grooves, but her critics were not impressed.

In one clip shared on X, many noticed how Markle clapped and danced before looking up, which many believed was to check herself on the screen. Several said it was cringe and embarrassing.

"This chick thinks she can dance, embarrassing. She's always looking for herself on the big screen," one commented with a face with rolling eyes emoji. Another added, "42 years old and looking for herself on the screen like a child. Patetic [sic]."

"My God! Meghan Markle just can't dance! Didn't her dad pay for dance lessons? I suppose they were as successful as her acting classes," a third critic wrote with multiple face with tears of joy emojis.

"She's sooooo awkward looking, and looks really out of place -- and the woman behind her thinks so too," a fourth user opined.

"[S]o embarrassing. A middle-aged supposed Mum thinking she's all that..from back in the 00's. Please, stop embarrassing yourself and act your age, [Meghan]," another wrote with a person facepalming emoji.

Meanwhile, several also stood up for the duchess. For them, she didn't need to dance well since she was there to cheer for her favorite team. Many also praised Markle for letting loose at the event.

"What dance in particular do you think she should be doing while cheering points at a sports match? The paso dobly? A bit easily triggered aren't we?" one fired back at those criticizing Markle's dance moves. Another added, "It's a hockey game, not a disco. Ridiculous poser."

"The royals who actually show personality!" a Sussex fan commented.

"Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex. Now my favorite Royal!" another user tweeted along with a clip of Markle dancing. Another agreed, writing, "Yup! She's definitely my favorite too."

According to The Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would love to spend the holidays with the royal family. However, they haven't received an invite yet.

Charlotte Griffith, editor-at-large at The Mail on Sunday, told GB News' Patrick Christys that she didn't think Prince Harry and Markle's desire to be in the U.K. for Christmas was a sign that the royal rift was thawing. Instead, she speculated that "they must need more material for their next documentary."
