Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly contemplating a move closer to Hollywood.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are exploring real estate options in Los Angeles, as disclosed by unnamed sources to TMZ.

The insiders said the couple, who previously considered a residence in Malibu, is now eyeing various neighborhoods in Los Angeles, with a primary focus on privacy and community.

Presently residing in a $14 million mansion in Montecito, situated over 90 miles from Los Angeles, Markle and Prince Harry find it challenging to attend Hollywood events.

According to the sources, the pair has not yet toured any properties, except for a Malibu estate they decided not to take.

The decision against the estate was reportedly influenced by privacy concerns after TMZ initially broke the news of Markle and Prince Harry's interest in a property off Pacific Coast Highway.

The subsequent media attention and safety issues compelled them to reconsider that particular estate.

If the couple does move to Los Angeles, it would not be their first time living there.

When they first moved to the U.S. following their royal exit in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed in Tyler Perry's mansion in Beverly Ridge Estates.

They were able to maintain a low profile for several weeks before media coverage intensified.

In their Netflix documentary, "Harry & Meghan," the couple fondly described their time in Perry's mansion as a period of blissful anonymity.

Meanwhile, Markle recently hinted at a return to Hollywood.

At Variety's Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Nov. 16, the former "Suits" star talked about her goal of creating content that makes people "feel something" and fosters a sense of community, Page Six reported.

Markle also teased that they had "so many exciting things on the slate. I can't wait until we can announce them, but I'm just really proud of what we're creating. My husband is loving it, too. It's really fun."

Her comments align with her signing with top Hollywood talent agency WME for representation in April.

WME also now handles the representation of Archewell, the Sussexes' content creation label.

The focus of the representation is on film and television production, brand partnerships and overall business development, with acting not being a central area of interest.
