Meghan Markle 'Uses People Until She Doesn't Need Them Anymore': Royal Biographer
Meghan Markle has received backlash due to Omid Scobie's new book, "Endgame."
Prince Harry's biographer Angela Levin joined Nana Akua in the recent episode of GB News' "Royal Round-Up." The duo discussed Scobie's upcoming book about the royal family, "Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival," prompting Levin to criticize the Duchess of Sussex as they talked about the Sussexes' relationship with the royals and the reports that they allegedly want to spend the holidays with the royal family.
"It's said in the book that she absolutely can't bear the royal family and the way the royal operates, and she doesn't want to know about it," Levin said about the new book. "This is typical [of] Meghan because she uses people until she doesn't need them anymore, and then she moves on. She did this with her first husband. She's done it with lots of friends, and that's how she operates, and it's cunning."
Akua commented that Markle is not unique because a lot of "ruthless" people do that before noting that Markle "bagged a prince." Levin agreed and claimed that Markle is "hanging on to his title."
"If she hadn't done that, she hadn't hung on to a prince, she wouldn't be popular, and she wouldn't be incredibly rich, so it worked for her. But does she want to go come here to this country? Of course not," Levin added.
Markle has been accused of using and ditching people when she doesn't need them anymore. This was what reportedly happened to her first husband, Trevor Engelson, whom she allegedly broke up with when she catapulted to fame following the success of her paralegal drama, "Suits."
"A wealthy entrepreneur friend claimed that the marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent Trevor her diamond wedding and engagement rings back to him by registered mail," royal biographer Andrew Morton wrote in his book "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess," Sky News reported.
"Another confirmed that the decision to end the marriage was made by Meghan and that it had come 'totally out of the blue.'"
Former BBC journalist Tom Bower previously claimed Markle "abandoned" Engelson. The Duchess of Sussex allegedly "never wanted to live with Trevor in L.A." and "was determined to build a new life." She also allegedly forbade any photos from her first nuptials to leak and even destroyed their official wedding video.
"Meghan is a schemer, you never know -- really -- looking at Meghan unless you're really far inside her mind, what she really thinks, what she really wants," Bower claimed to "Palace Confidential" host Jo Elvin in one episode of the MailPlus podcast. "That's the story across America and Britain, people perplexed about a woman who really has betrayed them, dumped them, and that's what many of them obviously think she'll do to Harry."
Several believed Prince Harry and Markle's marriage would end in divorce after three or five years. The royal couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in May, and despite rumors that their marriage was on the rocks, they are still together.
Prince Harry and Markle were last seen together in public when they attended the annual Autism Acceptance Night at Rogers Arena during the Canucks vs. San Jose Sharks game last week.
