Is Prince William A Taylor Swift Fan? Royal Seemingly Hints He Is A Swiftie

Prince William seemingly hinted that he is a fan of Taylor Swift during a chat with rocker Ronnie Wood.

The Prince of Wales, 41, looked dapper in his blue suit at the 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards in London on Monday. The event marked an important cause for the heir who became Royal Patron of Tusk in 2005 and helped launch the namesake awards for the African wildlife conservation organization over a decade ago.

He was photographed chatting with Wood about The Rolling Stones' upcoming stadium tour. The musician invited the royal for the tour, and that was when the Duke of Cornwall made a subtle reference to Swift, who just wrapped the 2023 leg of her "Eras Tour."

"We were talking about the tour and I said, 'Come on, you've got to come out on tour,' and we were talking about the new album and everything," Wood said,  Hello! reported. "William said [he would] if we could get Taylor Swift there."

The Rolling Stone guitarist told the father of three that the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer had previously performed with his bandmate Mick Jagger. "I'm there then," Prince William quipped.

It remains unclear if Swift will be able to make a cameo at the Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds, which is set to make 16 stops across the U.S. and Canada starting April 2024. However, Kate Middleton's husband need not wait for the event to sing with Swift as he had already sung alongside the Grammy winner and Jon Bon Jovi during a Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace in 2013. The trio shared the stage and sang "Livin' on a Prayer."

In June, Swift and Prince William's video resurfaced after the Wall Street Journal reported that Markle wrote a personal note to Swift inviting the latter to appear on her podcast "Archetypes." However, the "Reputation" singer reportedly declined through her representative.

The report sparked speculations among netizens that Swift was Team Wales, not Team Sussex, amid the royal feud between Prince William and Prince Harry.

"Me thinks Taylor is Team William and Catherine," one person commented. Another claimed, "Taylor is definitely team William. She prefers class to trash."

However, Omid Scobie mentioned in his new book "Endgame" that Swift also declined King Charles' invitation to perform at his coronation. One Sussex fan immediately concluded that Swift was "Team Meghan Markle and Prince Harry."
