The royal family is exhausted of the issues involving them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a royal expert.

True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen, an award-winning documentarian who has been producing programs about the British royal family for 20 years, weighed in on the drama between the Sussexes and the royal family following the release of Omid Scobie's new book, "Endgame." According to him, the members of the firm were already "tired" of the Sussexes' circus.

"I think they're tired," Bullen told Fox News Digital about the publication of "Endgame." "I think ... the anger has gone out of it. ... A lot of the heat has gone out of it. It's just a sense of, 'Really? Again?'"

Bullen acknowledged that Prince Harry and Markle have distanced themselves from the book. However, he believed it would be challenging to do so because many things in Scobie's book "can only have come from sources very close to the Sussexes."

"So, I think there'll just be a great sense of 'What a shame' from the royal family. What a shame that this is happening again, just as things were beginning to calm down," he added.

Bullen also confirmed the call between King Charles and Prince Harry on the former's 75th birthday. According to him, there was "some form of rebuilding," but the new book's bombshell revelations seemingly ruined it.

"I think the royal family just want to move forward from the whole Harry and Meghan circus," Bullen explained. "I think they want Harry back in the fold. They want relationships with the children and grandchildren. But there is a real fear -- and I know this for a fact from people at a very senior level within the royal household -- there is a real fear that the conversations with the Sussexes are not private and that they get leaked. And I think that's the biggest fear that exists."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly hinted that they were willing to spend the holidays with the royal family in Sandringham. However, experts doubted their sincerity, with some alleging that they were only after more materials they could use for their next documentary or gather information to sell.

Prince Harry and Markle received intense backlash over "Endgame" because many believed the author was their "mouthpiece." However, Scobie denied their involvement in the publication and stressed that he and Markle were not friends, and he didn't interview her for the book.
