Miley Cyrus may have recruited Nicki Minaj for her upcoming album Bangerz, and a preview of the album's second single, 23, hit the web today.

On Thursday, Cyrus posted a photo of herself with Minaj and producer Mike Will in a recording studio. The name of the song has yet to be released and it's unclear whether the song will appear on Cyrus' album, but the 20-year-old has been touting her album on Twitter as a hit-filled affair, hence the title Bangerz.

"‪#BANGERZ is already trending world wide pshhhhh wait till you hear this s**tttttt," she tweeted on Wednesday.

Cyrus also said she has been spending most of her time working on songs for the album.

"Sorry I ain't tweeting much. Focused on ‪#BANGERZ," she wrote on the social media site later that day.

With the release of a snippet from her second single 23, Cyrus seems to be accurate in her assessment. The new song delves further into the hip-hop sound presented on her first single, We Can't Stop, and features rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The pairing with Minaj and Khalifa should not come as a surprise, because Cyrus has told several media outlets that she's experimenting with a more urban sound, as evidenced by the singles released from Bangerz.

The writers of We Can't Stop, the duo Rock City, said Cyrus was very specific about the sound she wanted on her album.

"When you listen to the Miley Cyrus record that we did, it's not ratchet but it definitely has a lot of urban feel to it," said Rock City's Timothy Thomas in an interview with Vibe back in June. "She was like, 'I want urban, I just want something that just feels black.'"
