Kanye West has once again stirred up controversy, this time during the listening party for his upcoming album with Ty Dolla $ign, "Vultures."

The rapper donned a black hood reminiscent of those associated with the Ku Klux Klan, raising eyebrows and sparking a social media storm.

The event, dubbed the "Vultures Rave," took place at Miami's Wynwood Marketplace Monday night, where West initially appeared with his face concealed by a garment, as seen in videos circulating on X, formerly Twitter.

However, he later changed into the pointed black hood, a move that shocked many social media users, especially given the controversial lyrics of the title track addressing allegations of past antisemitic behavior.

In the track "Vultures," West raps, "How I'm antisemitic? I just f--ked a Jewish b--ch."

The combination of the provocative lyric and the outfit choice drew swift criticism, with social media users expressing their outrage.

"Kanye wearing a KKK hood and Black people are sitting idly by. F--k him and his music bro," one tweet read, capturing the sentiment of many who found the rapper's choice disturbing and offensive.

While some suggested West might be making a statement against white supremacist ideals, others dismissed this notion, pointing to his track record of controversial actions.

Even more unsettling for some was the presence of West's 10-year-old daughter, North, onstage with him at the time, prompting concerns about the appropriateness of such imagery in front of a young audience.

"North looks so uncomfortable with Kanye wearing a KKK mask," one person commented. "Get her off the stage bro."

This isn't the first time West has employed such provocative symbolism, Page Six noted.

People wearing similar black hoods were featured in his 2013 music video for "Black Skinhead."

The controversy follows West's past incidents, including wearing a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt during a Yeezy fashion show in Paris last year.

West's actions, along with his litany of conspiracy-minded and antisemitic remarks, led to backlash, with multiple businesses cutting ties with him.

Meanwhile, West's daughter North debuted her verse on his new album during the listening party Monday.

A video shared on X showed the 10-year-old onstage as she raps, "I love it here / we gonna take over the year for another year / it's your bestie, Miss Miss Westie / don't try to test me / it's gonna get messy/ it's gonna get messy / just bless me."

Toward the end of North's performance, a smiling West joined her onstage.

West also dropped his track "Everybody," which contains a sample of the Backstreet Boys hit of the same name. Check out a video shared by "NFR Podcast" of the song being played at the listening party below.
