Kim Kardashian became the proud owner of a Gulfstream jet in 2022, reportedly shelling out a staggering $95 million for the high-flying luxury.
The billionaire had custom modifications done on her private jet, inflating its reported value to $150 million, according to Page Six.
The public got its first glimpse of the beauty and fashion mogul's airborne palace in an episode of the Kardashian family's Hulu reality show, "The Kardashians," where she humorously likened the moment to an episode of "MTV Cribs" for planes.
"I never dreamed I would own a plane," Kardashian said in the reality series, as seen in clips obtained by Entertainment Tonight. "I wanted it to feel like an extension of me and an extension of my home."
True to Kardashian's aesthetic, the plane boasts neutral-colored furnishings, with light-colored cashmere enveloping overhead baggage compartments, ceilings, headrests and pillows.
Departing from the usual darker tones of planes, Kardashian opted for an all-light wood theme.
The jet includes two bathrooms and individual phone chargers for each seat.
However, gaining a seat on "Kim Air" comes with strict adherence to Kardashian's rules.
Even family members aren't exempt, as seen when Kendall Jenner tried to get a spray tan before a flight to Milan.
In the episode of their reality show, Kardashian laid down the law, refusing to compromise her cashmere seats.
"Have you seen the cashmere seats? You cannot get your spray tan on my cashmere seats," she told Jenner.
In another instance, Kardashian revealed a no-shoes policy, providing passengers with "custom Skims slippers."
The jet has served as Kardashian's luxurious transport to various destinations, including Milan Fashion Week, the Dominican Republic for a Sports Illustrated cover shoot and trips to Orlando and Washington with her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The G650ER model, an extended version of the G650, places Kardashian in the elite league of jet owners, sharing the airspace with billionaire Jeff Bezos.
Equipped with twin Rolls-Royce BR725 A1-12 engines, the jet can reach a maximum speed of 709 miles per hour and boasts a cruising speed of 594 miles per hour, according to South China Morning Post.
Kardashian's jet can go a range of 7,500 nautical miles (8,630 miles).
Her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, also owns a private jet said to be worth $72.8 million.
