On Wednesday, the parents of SB19 leader and CEO of 1Z Entertainment Pablo -- real name John Paulo Bagnas Nase -- were featured in an interview with "The 700 Club Asia," where they shared how they raised him and his siblings.

According to Pablo's father, Ted Nase, his second son's leadership is greatly influenced by his and his wife Grace's example.

"I let them grow but with my guidance," he said, talking about how he and his wife raised their five children.

"For me, what they want is always my priority because I want them to be happy. However, their choice should be something good for them."

The head of the Nase household also shared that their three sons and two daughters grew up in a home where there was unity even after petty quarrels. He noted that he would always ask for his children's forgiveness whenever they saw something bad in him.

Pablo's parents revealed that they raised the P-Pop artist and his siblings with the foundation of prayer and faith in God.

"I always pray for them that they always keep their feet on the ground and continue to submit to God everything," Pablo's father said.

On the other hand, Grace would always remind Pablo and his siblings, "Always seek the Lord's guidance on how to live your life. If the Lord is with you, you can overcome everything."

During the interview, Grace also spoke about Pablo and his bandmates Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin's humble beginnings as the Filipino boy group SB19.

According to her, when SB19 was not yet well-received by the public, their whole family would pray and sing worship songs during that dark time.

Soon after, SB19's "Go Up" dance practice video was shared on Twitter, now known as X, and went viral.

"God works in so many ways," Pablo's dad said and confessed that he initially thought that his son's voice was not appropriate for his career path because ballad songs were popular during that time. However, after seeing how Pablo's voice could fit beautifully in different genres, he realized that he needed to apologize to him.

"I want to say sorry to my son about it," Ted confessed.

A'TIN -- SB19 fans -- who watched the interview commented on how well Pablo's parents raised him.

"I can't help but cry. I'm grateful to SB19 members' parents for guiding them and reminding them always," commented one fan.

A second supporter wrote in Filipino, "If the parents raise their children well, the children will grow up well. We are thankful to you, Uncle Ted and Aunt Grace, for shaping our one and only leader Pablo. Their music really resonates with everyone."

"Thank you po, Tita Grace and Tito Ted, for raising a humble and good person [in] John Paulo Nase. His music saved us for different reasons, and he led us in the right direction. He is an inspiration and role model. To Pablo, as a fan, [I] will continue to support you and pray that God continues to guide you in all your decisions in life. God bless, Nase Family," commented another A'TIN.
