BLACKPINK's Jennie posted an Instagram Story but deleted it shortly after, sparking speculations that she could be recording new music with a Grammy-winning composer in the United States.

On Tuesday, the female idol posted an Instagram Story showing snacks with the message, "Have a great session, James & Jennie!" However, she quickly deleted it.

However, her fans were quick to save her post and zoom in on the details written on the card. Per her fans, the card appeared to be from Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles, California.

Seeing Jennie's post, many wondered about the identity of "James." One X account shared two potential producers Jennie might be working with at Chalice: James Fauntleroy and James Chul Rim.

Both producers have reportedly worked with big names in the music industry. Fauntleroy is a four-time Grammy winner, while Rim is a multi-platinum record producer.

However, because of the Instagram Story Fauntleroy recently posted, fans assumed that he was the "James" recording with Jennie at the studio.

Both photos from Fauntleroy and Jennie looked like they were taken in the same place because of the similar red lighting.

The American singer-songwriter-producer has won four out of his seven nominations at the Grammys. During the 60th annual Grammy Awards, Fauntleroy was awarded Best R&B Song and Song of The Year for Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" and Album of the Year for "24K Magic."

Before that, during the 56th Grammys, he won the Best R&B Song for Justin Timberlake's "Pusher Love Girl."

Fauntleroy also reportedly owns songwriting credits and guest performances in songs by big-name artists, including Drake, Beyoncé, Travis Scott, Chris Brown, Jay-Z, SZA, J.Cole and Frank Ocean, among many others.

Previously, Jennie talked about her dream "to release a solo full-length album to the world."

"I will set this year as my goal and come back with good music," the Odd Atelier founder said during her interview with South Korean artist Lee Hyori in "The Seasons: Lee Hyori's Red Carpet."

When she was interviewed by Harper's Bazaar Korea for its October 2023 issue, Jennie also briefly hinted at her solo album, saying it would be the "most Jennie-like."

"I'm currently making something that's most Jennie-like and something only Jennie has. Please look forward to it," she said at the time.
