Wiz Khalifa Attends Son's Parent-Teacher Meetings Stoned; Admits His Child 'Smells Like Pot'
American rapper and singer Wiz Khalifa recently appeared as a guest on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast and proudly admitted that he attends his son Sebastian's parent-teacher meetings stoned.
On the podcast's Wednesday episode titled "Wiz Khalifa: It's Not Cute to Cry in a Threesome," the "Young, Wild, & Free" artist gave an insight into co-parenting with his ex-wife Amber Rose, among other topics.
Talking about his 10-year-old son's parent-teacher conferences, the rapper proudly revealed that he "pulls up stoned" at meetings and the teachers expect it.
"They know what's up. It's not like back in the day [where] you're considered a bad parent if you smoke weed," he said per Page Six's transcript of his podcast interview.
The 36-year-old dad added that he's pretty sure Sebastian "smells like weed" and joked, "I don't know because I can't smell it, but I'm pretty sure he smells like pot."
Wiz Khalifa also explained that "he's pulling up stoned" because he wants his son's teacher to "connect" with the real him.
"They're not going to get a fake version of me or this made-up parent that society makes you think you're supposed to be," he said.
He added, "I am who I am, and it's not because I'm a celebrity or anything."
In 2017, Wiz Khalifa talked about weed, creativity and wellness with Vice and shared how the substance affects his mind and body.
"Smoking just helps to free my mind, slow my thoughts down and think about everything not only in a more poetic way but in a more creative way, in general," he explained.
He continued, "I like to smoke before, during and after I'm making music."
The "See You Again" rapper is currently co-parenting Sebastian with Amber Rose. The exes married on July 8, 2013, but divorced later on.
Amber filed for divorce only after a year of marriage to the rapper due to irreconcilable differences.
Early this year, Amber appeared as a guest on "Tamron Hall Show" and talked about being single and co-parenting with Wiz Khalifa.
"I think me and Wiz are so like best friends now that we're so best friends now. We're so far past being in love... It's not like anything that we would circle back to," she said.
The celebrity influencer added, "We're just friends and co-parents."
