Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry in several Invictus events, but some critics felt she was making the event all about her.

The Duchess of Sussex has been supportive of her husband's efforts for the veterans and wounded servicemen. However, she raised eyebrows after one netizen shared a clip of Markle headlining a parade during the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Sept. 15, 2023.

"If the Invictus Games want to succeed. They need to get rid of Meghan Markle, who has turned the games into an event all about her. When it should be completely focused on the brave men & women who served their countries," the netizen wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The post received mixed responses, with many agreeing with the online user who shared the video. For them, Markle was unnecessary in the event.

"I still can't believe she was marching ahead of the veterans in that ridiculous baby doll romper," one commented. Another added, "She is so disrespectful here. The shorts, leading the march...horrid woman."

"This is still one of the most disrespectful and grotesque displays I've witnessed. Brave ex-servicemen led by a Trollop in a pair of shorts and flip-flop sandals. The Sussex duo are shameless," a third person said.

"Veteran here. Stupid people running this organization, letting her parade in totally inappropriate clothes front and center of the games. Total joke. Boycott. Get rid of that idiot Spare also," a fourth user added.

Despite the backlash, several netizens loved seeing Markle joining Prince Harry at the Invictus Games. One even shared a clip of a woman showing support for Markle at the event.

"A lady approached Meghan Markle at the Invictus Games and said to her, 'I hate the British Media, we love you.' There [sic] hate campaign don't work on some people," one wrote.

"People that is [sic] able to think, love Meghan," a second user commented. A third netizen added, "We hate the British media love Harry and Meghan."

"Nobody had heard of Invictus, Prince Harry, or the Royal Family before Meghan Markle, so give her some credit, please. lol," a fourth user wrote.

Meanwhile, Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, has reportedly moved in with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, is convinced that Ragland would be a huge help to the couple.

The "Harry: Conversations with the Prince" author added that with Ragland around to look after the kids, Markle would allegedly be more confident in going to Los Angeles to get some work.
