Filipino boy group SB19 recorded a massive surge in the number of TikTok videos featuring its music after the release of its hit song "Gento."

According to Songstats, from a steady 382,000+ total number of TikTok videos containing SB19's music, it jumped to around 400,000 in May after "Gento's" release on May 19, 2023.

In the next months, the number grew even more. As of press time, there are 2,324,563 TikTok videos containing SB19's music.

SB19 songs recently used in TikTok videos include "Nyebe," "WYAT (Where You At)," "Win Your Heart," "I Want You," "Bazinga," "Ligaya," "What?" "Gento," "Freedom," "Crimzone," "Ilaw," "Liham" and 'Tilaluha."

Other recently TikTok'd songs include the group's collaborations with other artists, such as "Love Yours" with Ohwon Lee, "Kabataang Pinoy" with BINI, "No Stopping You" with Jayda and the band version of SB19's "MAPA" with Ben&Ben.

The quintet's songs for Acer Philippines, "Make Your Green Mark" and "Live It Up," were also among the most recently used SB19 songs in created videos on TikTok.

So far, "Gento" still reigns as the most used SB19 song on TikTok, with over 1.81 million created videos, per Songstats.

Next is "MAPA" with over 217,000 videos and "MAPA (Band Version) with 45,100 videos on the platform.

"Gento" experienced a massive surge in popularity when the dance craze also grew in countries outside the Philippines after idols from South Korea, Japan, China and Indonesia joined in and uploaded their dance covers of the song.

Members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin told the Philippine media outlet Inquirer that their song's popularity "feels like a dream."

"It's very unbelievable. We're very lucky because not all artists and songs would go viral on social media. [Everything] feels like a dream for us, and we're very grateful to our fans for their support," Ken said during their interview.

SB19 was recently announced to headline the first day of the upcoming Clark Aurora Music Festival.

The P-Pop group will join the star-studded lineup of Filipino artists Moira Dela Torre, Adie, Juan Karlos, December Avenue and Cup of Joe on Day 1 of the festival.

Day 2 will feature Filipino pop icons Rico Blanco, Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Orange & Lemons, Itchyworms and Andrew E.

The Clark Aurora Music Festival is scheduled on April 6 and 7 in Clark Global City, Pampanga, Philippines.
