Demi Lovato will perform for the first time since having her tonsils removed in July.

The singer will hit the stage at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards to sing her latest song Made in the USA on Sunday.

"It's truuue!! I'm performing #MadeInTheUSA on the Teen Choice Awards!!" she tweeted on Thursday. "Tune in to Fox on Sun. and get it on iTunes!!"

The song is off Lovato's fourth studio album, Demi, which was released in May and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard charts. Lovato also released the patriotic video for Made in the Usa in July.

"I dedicate my video to all of the troops, anyone who has passed away over seas and to this INCREDIBLE country that I'm so thankful 4," Lovato wrote on Twitter about the video she also helped direct.

The cinematic clip depicts the story of a young couple who experience love at first sight at a carnival. The couple is played by Aimee Teegarden from Friday Night Lights and Dustin Milligan from the CW's 90210. Milligan is a worker at the carnival where Lovato is also seen performing.

After they spend some romantic time together, the pair is separated when Millilgan's character is sent off to war. It's easy to ponder if Milligan's character will survive the dangerous battlefield. At the end of the clip, however, the lovebirds reunite.
