Jimmy Fallon revealed that he and wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed their baby Winnie Rose via a secret surrogate on Friday.

Fallon said him and his wife decided together to keep the news of having a child a secret until the baby was born. The late night show host said most NBC staff didn't know he was expecting until the birth of the baby was announced.
"We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody,'" Fallon told Giuthrie, adding, "It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife."
The couple welcomed their baby girl on Tuesday, July 23, their rep told Us Weekly. Their newborn is the couple's first child. She was born the day after the royal baby Prince George was welcomed by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William. When Guthrie mentioned the royal connection, two TODAY co-anchors made a joke about it.
"She's our royal baby around here," Natalie Morales said of Fallon's daughter.
"Princess Winnie," TODAY weatherman Al Roker added.
Fallon and Juvonen have been married since December 2007. She co-owns Flower Films with actress/producer Drew Barrymore.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian is set to replace Jay Leno on NBC's The Tonight Show in 2014. Current SNL cast member Seth Meyers will replace Fallon spot on Late Night when he replaces Leno next summer.
