Doja Cat’s Mother Alleges Physical Abuse Against Rapper In Recent Restraining Order
The mother of pop superstar Doja Cat, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, has filed a restraining order against her son, Raman Dlamini in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Jan. 12, citing physical and verbal abuse of herself and his sister.
According to 'USA Today,' Sawyer filed a request for a restraining order against Raman alleging he blocked her from entering her home on Jan. 10 and refused to leave the premises.
Sawyer was quoted in the court documents that "his actions have caused extreme fear while sleeping."
The publication states that her court documents describe alleged violent physical and verbal altercations, including the physical abuse of Doja Cat, born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.

The court filing states that back in November, Dlamini, 30, allegedly choked Sawyer and threatened to kill her. The "Agora Hills" rapper's mother went on claim Dlamini physically abused Doja Cat by allegedly "knocking her teeth out" and inflicting her with bruises and lacerations.
"Raman has made her feel unsafe and traumatized," Sawyer claimed.
The petition also claims that Raman Dlamini abused his mother "several times in the past." According to court documents obtained by NBC News, she was previously granted a restraining order against her son Dlamini in 2017.
"I need these orders to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of all parties listed," Sawyer said. "I am not only worried and fearful of physically violent episodes but the tremendous mental and emotional damage that is being done."
According to the L.A. County court website, a hearing regarding the matter is scheduled for Jan. 31. Representatives for Doja Cat declined to respond to publications.
The Shade Room posted a Instagram video of Raman denying all claims against him.
"I haven't seen anyone in years," he said.
