Adam Harrison, Son of 'Pawn Stars' Rick Harrison, Dead At 39
Adam Harrison, one of the three sons of reality TV show 'Pawn Stars' celebrity Richard "Rick" Harrison, has reportedly died in Las Vegas.
He was 39.
The family spokesperson, Laura Herlovich, confirmed his death on Friday, attributing it to a suspected drug overdose.
"Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam," the statement read, which also requested for privacy during their time of grief. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that police are investigating Harrison's death, which was initially reported by TMZ.
Adam Harrison, who was never featured on 'Pawn Stars,' did work at the family's establishment before the show's 2009 debut. Despite not being in the spotlight like his famous relatives and the co-star Chumlee, Adam maintained a relatively low profile.
The A+E series also featured Richard Harrison's oldest son, Corey Harrison. Both Richard and Corey posted brief memorial comments on their Instagram accounts. The show, which premiered in 2009, focuses on the family dynamics and business operations of a storefront business on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Rick and others paid tribute to Richard and 'Pawn Stars' aired a retrospective episode honoring his memory.
In a statement, Laura Herlovich, a spokesperson for the family, stated that she is unaware of the location or the substance involved in Adam Harrison's reported overdose.
Adam's death comes after the family mourned the loss of patriarch Richard "The Old Man" Harrison, who died from complications of Parkinson's disease in 2018. He was 77.
