Fans Suggest This Is The Reason Why 50 Cent Has Lost Weight
Over the weekend, 50 Cent showcased his weight loss on social media. Wearing a white Amiri T-shirt, black velvet blazer, gray jeans, and white Air Force 1 Nike sneakers, he captioned the post: "GLGGreenLightGang 2024 I'm gonna shake things up. time to work let's get it!"
Fans noticed his transformation and speculated if he achieved his slimmer figure with the popular Type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic that has taken Hollywood by storm.
One user suspected, "Ozempic takes another, but I like Teddy Bear 50." Another added, "Dam you on Ozempic too." A third fan wrote, "Ozempic fif," while a fourth person speculated, "Fif on that Ozempic... Looking good tho.."
Contrary to speculation, a source close to the businessman, born Curtis Jackson, exclusively informed 'Page Six' that he is not using Ozempic. Instead, the Grammy Award winner has been dedicated to a "rigorous" training program for eight months, reportedly engaging in three hours of training every day, starting before his 'Final Lap' tour last summer.
After a surprise appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022, the 48-year-old faced criticism for his weight. During his performance of his 2003 hit "In Da Club," where he hung upside down, fans on social media engaged in fat-shaming the "Power" star for his perceived weight gain.
Nick Cannon weighed in on 50 Cent's weight in June 2023, commenting that the "Den of Thieves" actor looked like he had "a pack of hot dogs on the back of his neck." Cannon teased in jest, "You looking at them pictures from 'Get Rich or Die Tryin,' now it's get thick or die fryin'."
50 Cent has yet to publically comment on his weight.
