Actor Jacob Elordi, who portrays the role of football jock and mentally distressed Nate Jacobs on HBO's 'Euphoria' met with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show and talked about his character's return to Euphoria High.

" 'Euphoria,' do we know when that's starting to film again, or..." Fallon, 49, asked.

"I don't know, do you know?" Elordi responded, looking somewhat perplexed. "I hope soon," Elordi started, "or they're going to have to Benjamin Button me, or something."

The two questioned whether the third season of the hit series would be set in the future, to which Elordi, 26, responded jokingly that if not, he'd have a "bad back" walking down the school hallway.

Elordi's concern with potentially outgrowing the character is valid, seeing as though the series is fundamentally based on a group of socially pressured teenagers.

He also elaborated on his appreciation for Leonardo DiCaprio's approval of the show, saying it was amazing to discuss his portrayal of the role and that he [DiCaprio] is the "goat."

Although we don't have a date for season three, head of HBO Casey Bloys has confirmed it is underway with writer Sam Levinson already beginning to write scripts.

'Euphoria' continues to be a cult favorite, and according to 'Variety,' it's the most-watched series behind 'Game of Thrones.' According to the publication, the finale of season 2 drew 6.6 million viewers across both HBO and HBO Max.To date, 'Euphoria' is the most-tweeted about show of the decade in the U.S., raking in 34 million tweets combined.
