Michelle Obama Conspiracy Theory: Why Is Ex-FLOTUS Accused Of Being A Man?
Michelle Obama has been plagued by various conspiracy theories, with one claiming that she's a man.
In 2017, far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones claimed he had "the final proof" that the former first lady was a man. In a 12-minute video, the "Infowars" host analyzed footage and photos alleging that Barack Obama's wife has a manhood.
"Since the early days of the Obama administration, citizens across the board have studied videos and photos of Michelle Obama and said that she is a man," the shock jock said, per the Independent.
"And even [Barack] Obama has called her over and over again Michael. But new shock footage has emerged that is being censored off the internet as fast as you can upload it."
He showed a series of photos of Michelle and pointed out the pleats in her dresses and trousers, claiming it was evidence that she has a manhood.
"Now I'm not saying that Michelle Obama is a trans, and I don't hate trannies. I'm a libertarian, but we have famous photos of her where it appears she has a large bulge in her pants," he continued.
"Michelle appears in photos and videos to have a very large penis in her pants, her shoulders are wide, [and] her face is very, very masculine. She looks like a tranny. And so you ask yourself, are the children a beard for Obama and, of course, Michelle Obama or Michael Obama as he has called her."
Alex claimed that the undying rumor about Michelle being a man was started by late red carpet commentator Joan Rivers, who allegedly called Michelle "a tranny." Rivers died a month later in a "freak medical mishap," seemingly suggesting she was killed for her comments, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
However, one should take Jones' words with a grain of salt. In 2022, a Connecticut jury ordered him to pay $965 million after he maligned the Sandy Hook shooting victims with his muck information, per the Associated Press.
There's also a claim that Michelle's mom stated in her will that her possessions should go to her son, Michael Robinson Obama. Many took it as proof that Michelle was a man. However, AP debunked the claim, pointing out that it was part of a conspiracy theory that included several falsehoods and originated as satire.
The fake story about Michelle's mother's will has been around for years. The will previously appeared on a blog with a disclaimer that read, "Everything on this website is fiction."
