Could the daughter of Martin Lawrence and son of Eddie Murphy jump the brrom soon?

Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy, 34, have been dating for over two years and there's some speculation that the two might be headed towards "happily ever after."

Despite the lack of a public proposal, rumors have been simmering on social media as the two continue to show PDA publicly across Instagram.

Eric Murphy's most recent PDA post was on Jan. 15, with he declared his love for Lawrence, 28, on her birthday at an event.

"Happy Birthday my Love!! MY QUEEN!! My life would be truly incomplete without you," the post's caption read. "Keep shining your light on the world, and continue to be the God-fearing woman that you are. Today it is my prayer that you feel loved, cherished, blessed, and celebrated because you deserve it all plus more. I Love You Beautiful!"

In typical comedic fashion, Eric's father Eddie Murphy, 62, jokingly poked fun at Martin Lawrence regarding who would pay for the couple's nuptials should they decide to wed.

"My daughter just got married and I had to pay — really pay. And you have to do the same thing, Martin. Don't try to switch it up, don't try to change no s**t, do no Hollywood switch — you paying for the wedding if it goes down." He began, "And the wedding better be wonderful," he laughed.

Martin Lawrence, 58, sat with 'Jimmel Kimmel Live,' who asked the 'Bad Boys' actor if it was his "secret hope that they have some kind of comedy super baby together? You know, that changes everything?"

Regarding whether or not Martin would pay for the wedding, he laughed and responded, "I'm going to try to get Eddie to pay for it."

Although the couple's parents are both legendary comedians, Jasmin admits that's not how they became a pair.

In an interview with 'In Touch Weekly,' Jasmin revealed she met Eric through her uncle.

"We met through my uncle and we became really good friends," she said. "We bonded on a lot of things, obviously, we have similar backgrounds so we understood each other on a certain level, and over time it just... became more."

Although the couple have spoken publicly about how excited they are for their future together, Complex has confirmed the two are not engaged.
