Amber Heard 'Paranoia' Premiere PHOTOS, Red Carpet With Liam Hemsworth
Amber Heard walked the red carpet in a long gown at the Los Angeles premiere of Paranoia on Thursday night.
Heard sported a blue and black Vionnet dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and wore her hair in a loose bun.
The upcoming thriller focuses on Adam Cassidy, played by Liam Hemsworth, who holds an entry-level position at a powerful corporation. In order to keep his job, Adam is forced by his boss to go undercover and spy on a rival company. Adam then finds himself in the middle of a very dangerous situation.
Heard plays Hemsworth's girlfriend and the on-screen couple has a steamy romantic scene, shown in the film's official trailer. These types of scenes aren't ones Hemsworth finds easy to film.
"It's scary and it's a little uncomfortable," he told Variety. "I think the best thing to do is make jokes through it and we definitely had a few pranks throughout that scene."
Off-screen Hemsworth is in a very public relationship with Miley Cyrus. Heard, on the other hand, is much more secretive about her love life. The actress has been romantically tied to her former Rum Diary co-star, Johnny Depp, since his split from long-time partner Vanessa Paradis in 2012. Her love life isn't something she intends to make public.
"It's not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don't want to be a celebrity," she told Flare magazine in the September 2013 issue. "You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub."
The 27-year-old doesn't want to live a life like certain A-listers who have every moment of their private life reported on by media outlets.
"Can you even imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it," she said. "I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don't want to change just because people are watching. I've always been the person who says what she wants."
Paranoia comes to U.S. theaters on Aug. 16.
