Bodycam footage has emerged from 2022 of Young Thug's jail cell at the Cobb County Jail in Georgia being intensively searched.

The video captures a corrections officer meticulously inspecting the rapper's living quarters. Beginning with a search under Young Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, mattresses, the officer discovers an assortment of books and newspapers, including notable publications like 'The Wall Street Journal' and 'USA Today.'

The video then showcases a collection of photos adorning the cell's walls.

A particularly noteworthy photograph features Young Thug, 32, alongside his former girlfriend Jerrika Karlae. Other plastered photos included snapshots with his current girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist.

The 'Lifestyle' rapper has been incarcerated since May 2022 for allegedly violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) with murder, weapons, and armed robbery charges.

Thug, who is currently on trial for eight counts of violating the RICO Act, is accused of being the proclaimed leader of an Atlanta street gang, "Young Slime Life" or "YSL," and renting a car that was used in the 2015 slaying of Donovan Thomas Jr.

He plead not guilty on gang related charges in Fulton County.

If convicted, the Grammy Award winner faces up to 120 years in prison, according to 'The New York Times.'
