Stray Kids Sets New Record As First K-Pop Boy Group To Headline Two European Music Festivals
K-Pop boy group Stray Kids will headline two European music festivals this year -- I-Days Milano and BST Hyde Park.
Per I-Days 2024's press release on Tuesday, the eight-member group will perform for the first time at the Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan, Italy, on July 12.
The iconic music festival will start on May 29 and run until July 12, featuring Metallica, Lana Del Rey, Green Day, Doja Cat, Tedua, Queens of the Stone, Bring Me The Horizon, Sum 41, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan and Stray Kids, among many others.
Headlining I-Days Milano is not only a milestone for Stray Kids but also the entire K-Pop industry since this would be the first time for a K-Pop group to achieve such a feat.
STAYS -- Stray Kids fans -- must register on the I-Days app to qualify for the ticket presale on Monday, Feb. 5.
For Live Nation registered users, the presale will be on Feb. 9. The general sale will follow on Feb. 12 on the I-Days website.
Two days after Stray Kids' I-Days Milano stage live performance, the group will headline the BST Hyde Park music festival in London on July 14.
The group's appearance at the festival makes it the first K-Pop boy group and the second K-Pop group to achieve this groundbreaking achievement.
Stray Kids will now join BLACKPINK as the only groups to headline BST Hyde Park so far.
Other artists performing at the British music festival include Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and British pop legend Robbie Williams.
More acts will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
STAYS who are American Express UK card holders can book their tickets through the American Express presale, which will start at 10 a.m. GMT on Monday, Feb. 5. To get presale access, they must sign up on the BST Hyde Park website.
Tickets will go on general sale starting at 10 a.m. GMT on Feb. 12.
Stray Kids debuted as a nine-piece K-Pop boy group under JYP Entertainment in 2017. The group was originally composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N. and Woojin.
However, Woojin left the group in October 2019 due to undisclosed personal circumstances.
Stray Kids' hit songs include "God's Menu," "Maniac," "Thunderous," "Case 143," "S-Class" and "LALALALA."
