OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney's Parents Arrested On Felony Evidence Tampering Charges
Courtney Clenney's parents have been implicated in the alleged murder of Courtney's boyfriend in 2022 for evidence tampering.
According to arrest warrants obtained by NBC Miami, Miami-Dade County prosecutors allege Kim and Deborah Clenney illegally accessed the laptop of Christian "Toby" Obumseli after he was fatally stabbed in the condo he shared with Courtney Clenney.
The former OnlyFans model's parents were booked into Texas-based Travis County Jail and charged with unauthorized access to a computer — a third-degree felony in Florida.
The investigation into Obumseli's laptop ensued from alleged text messages between Clenney parents and Courtney's lawyers discussing potential passwords. Kim Clenney, 60, reportedly accessed the laptop with a numerical pin.
According to reports, one of Courtney's lawyers warned of potential legal consequences, suggesting prosecutors might accuse them of creating or modifying files if the computer's hard drive was accessed.
Kim Clenney messaged, according to the warrant: "I had barely opened it and was starting to poke around, but we started a video call so I stopped. Never opened a file, so I didn't see anything."
The laptop was eventually turned over to defense attorneys.
Their daughter — who is also now facing charges of authorized access to a computer — is already charged with second-degree murder in connection to the killing of Obumseli. The internationally known case unfolded in the couple's Miami condo on April 3, 2022.
Courtney, now 27, plead not guilty at the time of her arrest.
