Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE 2K24 Special Edition Cover Amid Sex Trafficking Allegations
Brock Lesnar's connection to a disturbing lawsuit against Vince McMahon has emerged, and because of the association, the WWE has removed him from the cover art of the special edition of WWE 2K24.
Wrestling reporter Andrew Ravens noted how Lesnar, 49, was removed from the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition of the WWE 2K24 game cover. A comparison of the original and updated covers reveals that John Cena now occupies the space previously held by Lesnar in the promotional artwork.
The fate of Lesnar's presence in the WWE 2K24 game, set for a March 8 release, remains uncertain. It's unclear if he will be removed from the videogame itself entirely.
According to 'The Wall Street Journal,' Lesnar is purportedly involved in a sexual assault lawsuit against Vince McMahon and the WWE.
The lawsuit included allegations against McMahon, such as sexual assault and sex trafficking.
According to the lawsuit, McMahon, 78, allegedly instructed former WWE staffer Janel Grant to take explicit photos of herself for a WWE star the company reportedly wanted to re-sign, per that wrestler's request.
Recent developments have altered plans for Lesnar's involvement in the 2024 men's Royal Rumble. Initially slated to participate, Lesnar's reported inclusion in the event underwent changes following the aforementioned troubling report and allegations.
WWE 2K24 is scheduled for release on March 8, available on multiple platforms including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4/5, and PC.
