Melania Trump joined her husband, Donald Trump, at a lavish event in his Florida estate Mar-a-Lago last week, marking her first public appearance since her mother's funeral.

The former first lady was spotted in a photo from the party shared by Israeli model Noy Tawil on Instagram Sunday.

Posing alongside Trump and Tawil, Melania appeared to be in high spirits, looking stunning in a long-sleeve navy blue gown. She styled her hair in loose waves and accessorized her outfit with a silver necklace.

The former president, for his part, wore a black tuxedo with a bowtie for the event.

The event comes weeks after the Trump family gathered for the funeral service of Melania's mother, Amalija Knavs, at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Florida on Jan. 18.

Melania, her husband and their 17-year-old son, Barron Trump, were joined by Trump's four older children and their respective partners.

Amalija passed away on Jan. 9 after battling an undisclosed illness. She was 78.

During the funeral service, Melania delivered a heartfelt eulogy, touching on the "unbreakable" bond she shared with her mother, the Associated Press reported.

She described Amalija as a "ray of light in the darkest days" and highlighted their effortless conversations.

Melania touched her fingers to her lips and placed them on Amalija's casket, concluding the eulogy with, "Rest in peace, my beloved mother."

Melania has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since the end of her husband's term as president. She has been notably absent from campaign appearances, except for the 2024 campaign launch at Mar-a-Lago in 2022.

Despite Melania's previous public support for Trump's reelection bid, The New York Times reported in July 2023 that she allegedly rejected offers to campaign with him ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Two months later, Trump told "Meet the Press" moderator Kristen Welker that Melania could join him "pretty soon" but added that he would prefer to "keep her away from" the "nasty" and "mean" campaign trail.

The former president acknowledged Melania's preference for privacy, stating, "She's a private person -- a great person, a very confident person, and she loves our country very much."

Last month, political expert Grant Reeher suggested to Mirror U.K. that Melania might be distancing herself from her husband's legal issues and controversies and was "less enthusiastic" about the role of first lady.

Reeher also speculated that Melania could be aiming to shield Barron from excessive media scrutiny.

But in a more recent interview with Fox News, Trump assured that Melania would be "very active" in his campaign, emphasizing her compassion and valuable advice.
